Privacy Policy
This is a placeholder privacy policy for the Numistix prototype. A production privacy policy should be written and reviewed by qualified legal counsel before launch.
What this site actually stores
Reading stories on this site does not require an account and does not send anything to a server — your language preference is stored only in your own browser. If you subscribe to the daily email, we store your email address, language preference, and subscription status (pending, confirmed, or unsubscribed) in our database, hosted on AWS, solely to send you the daily story.
Your email, and how to leave
We never sell or share your email address. Every daily email includes an unsubscribe link that removes you immediately. Before real launch, a production privacy policy should also cover data retention, security practices, and any additional third-party services used (for example, email delivery).
